How to apply Djabesmen Roof on a Sloping Roof

C. Nailing Process on Djabesmen Roof
  • One of the causes of a leak on the roof is caused by the water entering through the nail hole. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to use a rubber ring when performing the nailing process. This aims to close the gap in the nail hole so that the roof can last longer.
  • One way to make the cement fiber roof last longer, the nailing process procedure is very important to note. One of them is doing the nailing process at the top of the second wave from the left and at the top of the second wave from the right. As for the number of nails needed are 2 to 4 nails, depend on the size of the fiber cement roof used
  • Avoid nailing on the center of fiber cement roof and it would be better to do the nailing process by using a drill
  • Untuk fiber semen pada kemiringan yang tegak lurus (90 derajat), tumpangan akhir dapat dipasang hingga 200 mm.
D. Minimum Distance Standard for Fiber Cement
  • For roof installations with a slope angle of 200, the minimum recommendation distance for fiber cement stack is 100 mm.
  • For Djabes Small Corrugated Sheet (Djabes 11 & 14), the recommended minimum distance for fiber cement stack is 1.5 waves and 1 waves for Djabes Large Corrugated Sheet (Djabes 06).
  • For Djabes Small Corrugated Sheet (Djabes 11 & 14), the recommended minimum distance for fiber cement stack is 1.5 waves and 1 waves for Djabes Large Corrugated Sheet (Djabes 06).
E. Roof Truss Standard
  • For roof truss material, we would recommend to use a material that made from wood, metal or other materials that are tough and stiff. This is really important to make sure the roof could last longer.
  • The minimum distance between each trusses is 1200 mm or it can be adjusted according to the shape and size of the roof.
F. Rafters Standard
  • The recommended common rafters standard distance is between 800 mm – 1200 mm with a slope angle of 200
  • Below are several common rafters standard that we recommended for you:

1500 1300 - -
1800 - 800 -
2000 - 900 -
2100 - 950 -
